The picturesque views surrounding the hotel were absolutely stunning and added a charming touch to our romantic escape. We also appreciated the convenience of the walking trail, which provided us with walking sticks and interesting information about the area. Additionally, the location of the hotel was perfect, as it was close to zip lining and downtown, allowing us to easily explore the area.
While our overall experience was enjoyable, there were a few downsides to note. the rooms were smaller than expected and lacked a microwave, which would have been convenient for heating up snacks or leftovers.

We had a great Christmas stay at this lodge. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcomed. The location was ideal, offering beautiful expansive hill country views from our comfortable and clean room. Additionally, the lodge had a great pool that was clean and a good size.
While our room was clean, we did notice a bit of dirt and dust under the beds. Additionally, the water in the sink had a bad taste, so we had to use bottled water.

The views from the hotel were absolutely breathtaking, it was such a treat to wake up every morning and see the stunning scenery. The pool was also a highlight, it was clean and well-maintained, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sunny weather. Another advantage was the close proximity to Wimberley and Austin, making it easy to explore both areas and discover all they have to offer.
The mattresses in the rooms were quite worn out and uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, the noise insulation between rooms was not great, so it was a bit noisy at times.
